Pardaxin 5 is an antimicrobial peptide found in Pardachirus marmoratus (Rad sea moses sole flatfish, Achirus marmoratus), and has antimicrobial activity. It is used as a shark repellent and causes lysis of mammalian and bacterial cells, similar to melittin.
