Testagen is a bioregulatory peptide that promotes testosterone. Like many short peptides, Testagen crosses cell membranes and nuclear membranes and interacts directly with DNA. Testagen acts primarily on the pituitary gland and ultimately on the thyroid gland. Because of its effects on these two glands, it is able to normalize the production of testosterone and thyroid hormones under certain conditions. By normalizing thyroid hormone production, Testagen has a modest effect on the immune system.
