Vejovine (23-82) is a new type of antibiotic peptide derived from scorpion venom, which shows significant and effective antibacterial activity against clinical isolates of Gram-negative multi-drug resistant strains of Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aerµginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii.
